English: Pillar decorated with a vertical series of panels representing ritual scenes with antropomorphic divitinities. The scene as-Sawdāʾ TA 1A 3 is the third from the top of the pillar. It represents two seated gods one in front of the other: on the left ʾlmqh, on the right ʾrnydʿ. They are placed on low stools with crossed legs, separated by an altar supported by long legs (for comparison see the bronze altars AO 31930) and a decorative motif (animal frieze; animal gutter?), with an incense burner on the top. Between the two figures, a seated woman with a child, represented in smaller size. ʾrnydʿ holds in the right hand a long braided straw and wears a skull-cap, ʾlmqh holds his symbol. The heads are not very clear but both seem to have long beads (false?) or a kind of mask. The scene is framed by two trees joining together with a braid on the top.
