The Synergetic Symposium on Earth Consciousness & Lore of the Amazon, April 2016, organized by Synergetic Press and hosted at Synergia Ranch, was a day of talks, panel discussion, poetry, music, dance, and visionary art.

Part One features Dr. Dennis McKenna with an illuminating talk of adventure and discovery titled Climbing the Vine: 45 Years of Ayahuasca. In his decades as a revolutionary researcher in the field of ethnopharmacology, he has also been a founding board member of the Heffter Research Institute, aa key investigator on the Hoasca Project, and an adjunct Assistant Professor at the Center for Spirituality and Healing at the University of Minnesota with courses on Ethnopharmacology and Plants in Human Affairs. In the spring of 2019, in collaboration with colleagues in Canada and the U.S., he incorporated a new non-profit, the McKenna Academy of Natural Philosophy - A 21st Century Mystery School, www.mckenna.academy.

Other parts of the Synergetic Symposium feature Allan Badiner, Gay Dillingham, Dr. Rick Doblin, Michael Garfield, Dr. George Greer, Dr. Ralph Metzner, Valerie Plame Wilson, and the poetry of John Allen.
