في التباس بيحصل علشان اسم قاسم بن محمد يعني في الصفحة الإنجليزية مكتوب فيها عن القاسم ابن سيدنا محمد عليه الصلاة والسلام وأكيد مش هو المقصود هنا في أسبوع علماء المسلمين نرجو توضيح مين هو قاسم بن محمد المقصود هنا. وشكرا Amrmagdy 14:58، 18 سبتمبر 2008 (UTC)

The sentence in the section is sourced, the source (Hela Ouardi, The Last Days of Muhammad) is reliable. @إسلام: (No problem for the language; I will continue in English, my knowledge of Arabic is incomplete.) Ouardi is a scholar, she does historical research: the life of Muhammad was the object of a theological reconstruction, so-called "historical" characters are in fact inventions (eg Maria la Copte - مارية القبطية - and potentially Ibrahim ibn Muhammad). Hela Ouardi is not the first one to question the existence of Al-Qasim: Henri Lammens (Fatima et les filles de Mahomet, 1912) did so too. It's problematic if you accept what the ancient sources says, and that's why Ouardi is questionning the historicity of this child.
