Eman Haddad

Eman Haddad is the Jerusalem anchor of Alhurra’s Al Youm, a ground-breaking live new television magazine show originating simultaneously from five countries in three continents including Dubai, Jerusalem, Beirut, Cairo and from Alhurra’s headquarters in Springfield, Va. "Alyoum" provide viewers the latest information on topics such as health, entertainment news, sports, technology, social and cultural issues as well as the headlines from the Middle East and around the world.

Prior to joining Alhurra, Ms. Haddad was an anchor at the Different Viewpoints a documentary series on Channel 10 in Israel. On Different Viewpoints, she tackled a variety of political and social topics that dealing with the challenges of "being an Arab in Israel" such as the Arab-Palestinian identity and culture, the national service at the Arab society, local Arab 48 celebrities and the dream to become famous at the Arab world… Ms. Haddad also served at the editor of Fresh Views Newspaper and addressed the challenges facing both Palestinians and Israelis.

Ms. Haddad served as a Media Consultant to the McCann ERICKSON Advertising Company. She also served as a spokesperson for the Galilee Society—the Arab National Society for Health and environment, Research and Services.

Ms. Haddad has a Masters Degree in Political Communication from Tel Aviv University. She also served as a research assistant during her studies, examining the influence of the Internet during Israeli political campaigns.
