Tiger's gestation period (how long it is pregnant) is about 3 to 4 months. The average amount of cubs that the tiger can give birth to at one time is 3 on average. However, the maximum amount ever recorded is 5 cubs at one time. The new born cubs only weigh about 2lbs. They depend on their mother for milk for about the first 2 months, and depend on her for hunting for about 18 months until it begins hunting on it's own. igers can live between 15 and 20 years. tigers have a body design that allows them to move along gracefully. They are also incredibly fast when it comes to hunting their prey or getting themselves out of the way of danger. A full grown tiger can be up to 11 feet in length and weigh as much as 670 pounds. They have a very muscular build too which helps them to take down prey that is many types heavier than they are.
