Tiger's gestation period (how long it is pregnant) is about 3 to 4 months. The average amount of cubs that the tiger can give birth to at one time is 3 on average. However, the maximum amount ever recorded is 5 cubs at one time. The new born cubs only weigh about 2lbs. They depend on their mother for milk for about the first 2 months, and depend on her for hunting for about 18 months until it begins hunting on it's own. igers can live between 15 and 20 years.
